excellent for regular knives. The rubber prevents slipping. Smooth surface so it wont bite into your knife and chip it. Works ok for japanese steel. It still has some bite for thin AS steel.Customer Review: Nice cutting board

The primary reason I ordered this item is because the decor in my kitchen is red and white. I am very satisfied with this cutting board, however I do wish it had a handle. I find myself using my other cutting board that has a handle more than I use this one. I use this board more for cooling muffins on, or as an overflow if I am chopping a large quantity of veggies and such. Good quality and if you prefer a board without a handle, this is the board for you.Customer Review: It's a cutting board

Use these all the time, have several. Fits ok in the dishwaher. Has not picked up any stains. Good size for many routine kitchen tasks, but you'll want a larger one in your inventory, and several smaller ones. The gutter on all 4 sides to catch juices is nice, but it could be a little deeper to hold more, if you are cutting a cooked roast on it they'll overflow, I knocked off a star for that.Customer Review: Great product. This cutting board is very good. With enough warped cutting boards to shake a stick at, I was pleased to find this one. Plus it is non-slip on a dry surface, of course. Definitely a good deal for the price.Customer Review: Just Okay

This product does what it's meant to do. It did stain rather quickly, and I would have preferred a larger size. It's just okay.
