I love "most" OXO products. They usually think out an old existing kitchen tool and make it better w/o being too hi-techy in funtion but mod enough to fit today's styles. Having said that, I was surprise when I used this cutting board. If I had seen it in the store, maybe I would have reconsidered buying it. But here I am at Thanksgiving, with a cutting board I only saw on the internet. I bought it for the size, and this I can tell was fine on the internet. And because it was OXO, I trusted the brand....big mistake! Here's why: I have granite counter tops...the thing was sliding all over the place. And cutting a turkey even with an electric knife, you need stability. It has no bottom grip. Also, the reservoir to catch the juices...too shallow! Juice and meat was dripping off the counter onto the floor. By the time I was finished carving the turkey, my cat had a feast before we even sat down. OXO, you blew it on this one.Customer Review: Do not buy as a carving board.

My first experience with this board is as follows:
Unwrapped it, washed it, placed it on the counter to use. So far so good. Placed a roasted chicken on the board to rest for 10 minutes before carving. Within 5 minutes, juices are overflowing out of the grooves onto my counter and floor. Note: at this point, I haven't even begun to carve the chicken. I put a towel under the board and proceed, cursing the spilled juices as I begin to carve up the chicken. As soon as I touch the bird, it starts sliding around on the board. I have carved countless chickens and never, ever has one slid around on a cutting board like this. My search continues for a good carving board...

I love OXO products & have a kitchen full of them. This cutting board does not measure up to the usual OXO standards. The board I received was warped & did not sit firmly or flatly on the counter (not any counter in our house: wood, formica or granite). It just slid all over the place. Not exactly safe when working with knives. I returned it & ordered the next size down. It too, was warped. The small one was perfect.Customer Review: Useless!

I so wanted to like this board, but I don't. On the positive side, it is big enough for a turkey and it doesn't slide on the counter. Now, the bad: the surface is so slick that the bird slides all over the board and the grooves are so shallow that even a small amount of juice overflowed. It is therefore useless for me. Wish I could return it.

Finally got to use our Oxo Good Grips cutting board. As we removed the pork roast we noticed our electric knife had left deep cuts/gouges in the board--lifting ridges high enough to badly scratch your hand should you slide it across the surface.
