I love these bowls! I've been using large and HEAVY ceramic bowls for years. I was ready for something light weight. The grippy handle and bottom are fantastic... I'll never go back! I would rate these 5 stars but they don't have lids. They would be PERFECT if they had lids. I just use Glad clingwrap and that works just fine.Customer Review: DOES NOT GO IN MICROWAVE!!!

First off, these bowls are not supposed to go in the microwave, despite what some of the other reviewers say.
These bowls are awkward to hold and seem to scratch easily. The handles are a weird shape that you can really only grab with your fingertips and did not feel comfortable in my hand at all. I found that I tended to grab the bowl from the sides to avoid the handles. Finally, I found I really did not like mixing things in these bowls because they have a somewhat narrow but tall shape. The bowl set I was going to replace with these were slippery bottomed ceramic bowls, but mixing in plastic bowls with metal utensils (metal ended Pastry mixer) felt weird to me after so long with ceramic/glass bowls and as I said earlier, it already left a few small scratches.
These are going to one of my sisters if they want them, or maybe goodwill or something. I will not be using them again.
