I really love these bowls as they have a grip on the bottom which prevents them from sliding all over the counter. however, I was disappointed to find them cheaper elsewhere after I purchased them from Amazon.Customer Review: rubber smell ruins great bowls

Great shape, great function, but why didn't Oxo use silicone on the bottoms, instead of smelly rubber? I had to return them; can't live with that smell in my house.
