I love these containers and the ease of which they open (seal) and close so securely. My only complaint is that I did not realize that OXO makes two sizes and ordered thinking that I was getting the larger (more practical) size for storage of staples like flour and sugar. Though this is my fault for not doing my homework, it would have helped if it was noted in the product description. The ones I ended up with don't hold even a full bag of flour. Make sure you get the larger ones if that's the reason you're buying them.Customer Review: Just Don't Drop It!

I registered for and received some of these as wedding gifts, and at first I really liked them. They are easy to open and shut, and they come in good sizes, and I like that they stack. However, I made the mistake of trying to drag one out of the back of the pantry by the lid, and the lid popped off and flour flew everywhere. My fault, I know, but still a bit irritating. So, I carry on with these for a while, and as I am taking one out of the dishwasher one day, I drop it. It doesn't just crack, it breaks. That one broke in half completely. I have since dropped another, smaller one, and it cracked so that a hole is in the bottom corner of one of the sides, rendering it useless. I won't be replacing these, because I honestly think $15 is too expensive for a container that breaks so easily, but if you can avoid dropping them, they work well for storing dry pantry items. I am more impressed with the Lock and Lock-type of storage containers, which I am currently in the process of accumulating.
