I love this grater. Each side has a different size grater on it, making it quite versatile, and the box that attaches underneath is very convenient. The box also comes with a lid to keep your unused grated substances fresh. The handle is soft and very comfortable to hold and both the bottom edges of the grater and of the measuring box are lined with rubber to prevent slipping.
This is a fantastic grater and you certainly can't beat the price. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

If you've seen any of my other reviews you'll know that I'm a BIG fan of OXO products. Most of my kitchen tools are OXO. There is no exception when it comes to this grater. I use it constantly and it's so handy to be able to drop it in the dishwasher and pull it out the next day to use again. The sealable cup is great to store leftover grates and I love, love, love that it stores inside the grater. It was time to replace an ancient flat grater - read the reviews and determined this was the best. It's sharp and fits in a drawer. The bonus was the little rectangle box with measurements on the side and a cover. Just right when a recipe calls for a 1/2 cup of grated cheese. Cheese that is freshly grated is so, so much better than what comes out of bag - that icky coating may keep the strands from sticking together, but it definitely affects the texture and taste.Customer Review: Best Box Grater Yet!

I purchased this product because it was recommended by America's Test Kitchen, a public television show produced by Cook's Illustrated magazine.
It's easy to hold, easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store. What more could I ask for? It's hard to beat OXO Good Grips products, and I wish I owned everything they make!
The clear storage container (with non-slip ring, lid, and measurement markings) is a super feature.

I have used this grater for several months now and I love it. When I grate cheese I put a paper plate under the grater to catch what does not go into the plastic box, most of it goes into the box, and what doesn't I use on the meal at hand. I found that if you grate the cheese a slower pace most of it will go into the box. I store the rest in the plastic box in the frig and it will keep for several days and not get hard. Highly recommend this grater!
