Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of OXO Good Grips Cake TesterCustomer Review: OXO Cake Tester Summary: 5 Stars
How nice it is to have another great product from OXO that makes life so much easier for those of us challenged with arthritis. I used to use a corsage pin (2" long pin with a small pearl head on it). It became difficult for me to hang on to and kept slipping out of my fingers. This new cake tester works great! Nice long needle and great pad to hold between your whole thumb pad and fore finger. I highly recommend!!!
Customer Review: Get this!! Summary: 5 Stars
Yes. I know you can just use a toothpick, but why would you when you have this? You can use a paper cup to drink from too but most of us use cups that are reusable don't we...
Sometimes you have to check something several times before it is done. That means using several toothpicks, or one of these.
If you bake, you need this. If you know someone who bakes, get this for them.
Customer Review: excellent cake tester Summary: 5 Stars
so far i've used it on everything BUT cakes but it does its job, good quality handy i like the circle on top so i can fasten it to the dishwasher basket and its length is just perfect. no more underdone bundt cakes. and i like that unlike knives it really doesnt RUIN the testing area. no more burnt fingertips trying to tap hot baking goods.
i love OXO. if i continue i'll be a full OXO household
Customer Review: Another Use Other Than a Cake Tester Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this in a hardware store not knowing this was a cake tester. I always keep a piece of wire handy to clean the little plastic nozzles that always get clogged from my shampoo, hand lotion, liquid soap, etc bottles. This is wonderful. Never bends, cleans out the narrowest of openings and I LOVE it!!! I keep one in the bathroom and the kitchen. Makes a great little surprise gift.
Customer Review: must have and great filler! Summary: 5 Stars
not only is this item a great filler item for your cart, it is a must have for your kitchen. no more digging around in the utensils drawer for anything sharp to test your cookies, just look for this. i always throw it into my cart as a filler and give them away as gifts. i've had it for months and the thing has yet to rust or even bend out of shape. highly recommended.
