Customer Review: Oxo Clam Knife-Well made but blade a bit thick.

We live on the New England coast and often dig our own clams. My father has some difficulty using his hands, so I wanted to get a new knife that would be easier for him to use. The knife is well made and comfortable to hold. My only negative comment is that the blade is a bit thick to slide between the clam shells. I put the clams in the freezer for about 12 munites to help them open and it worked OK. I would recommend this.Customer Review: clam knife

I'VE USED THE CLAM KNIFE TWICE. I WASN'T ABLE TO OPEN ALL OF MY CLAMS. I WISH THE END WAS A LITTLE THINNER.Customer Review: terrible

too thick to actually be able to get in between the shells to pry open. Maybe I'm doing something wrong (but have been doing fine with other knives. The oyster shucker on the other hand is excellent!
