We've had this cutting board for almost a year now and it's great. It's been very durable, showing just some of the standard marks you would expect. The size is great for cutting up an onion or some meat or whatever. It's easy to clean and doesn't keep any of the odors, so after cutting an onion and washing it, the next thing you cut won't smell like onion. It stays put on the counter while cutting, so you don't need to worry about it slipping. You can run out of room if you're trying to cut an onion and a pepper at the same time, but if you're cutting up a lot of things at the same time you probably want to buy a bigger board. This one is best for all the little daily jobs when you don't want your cutting board to take up much space on the counter or for storage.Customer Review: great little cutting board

I love this cutting board for making my morning eggs. I chop up mushrooms, onions and tomatoes on this. This is big enough that I can chop each vegetable and still have room for more. All i do is slide all these from the board into the frying pan with my eggs. I love the compact size, since the next size cutting board is twice this size and a pain to move around and to clean. This little guy goes right into the dishwasher and has had no problems once out of it. I would recommend this one for the small jobs. Another thing, i noticed grooves around the sides of the board. It seems like a small amount of liquid on the board would be caught in these grooves. So this can save it from running off the board onto the floor. I thought this was kind of a neat concept.Customer Review: Just right for so many uses.

I was actually reviewing another kitchen item when I decided to put up a review of this handy little cutting board. My daughter bought me this along with a few other Oxo products as a gift. She thought that since many of my utensils were older than she is, that it was time. It made me laugh, but as I put aside my older things, and started using the Oxo products I was thrilled.
I use this little cutting board every single day. I use it for cutting, or just as a place to prepare sandwiches or other foods. I stays put on the counter and is the perfect size. This will be a gift I give at showers for years to come. This and some other Oxo kitchen items. Clearly my daughter is a genius.

As soon as this board was added to the rotation in my kitchen (which includes another "grippy" plastic board by a different manufacturer as well as several sizes of wooden boards), it became my favorite. It's always the first one I reach for. It's a very handy size, big enough for some serious chopping but small enough to handle and store easily. It grips the counter top well and has a good "feel" under the knife. It seems to be holding up better than my other plastic board, which quickly became noticeably scratched, scarred, and stained. This one receives at least twice the use, yet still looks at least twice as good.Customer Review: Love the size and the grip

This is definitely a SMALL cutting board, but I love the fact that it easily fits in my cupboards, on my limited counter space, and in the dishwasher. The grippy black ends are a little thicker than the white cutting surface, meaning that it is non-slip even when you flip it over. It is just the right size for slicing up a tomato or pepper - just not a lot of room if you are doing multiple items and not transferring them immediately to another bowl or something. It cleans up easily and so far has not discolored at all - even from all the red bell peppers I cut on it.
