We got the OXO Good Grips Digital Instant Read Thermometer for our wedding shower. The screen is too heavy for the thermometer, especially for a digital one. Instant read is a joke; it takes far too long to give you a reading. And then there is the issue of accuracy. Sometimes it gives us an accurate reading, sometimes it doesn't. We have to double check with another thermometer. Save your money, there are better products out there.Customer Review: slow but sure

It is fairly accurate but far from instant read. It takes 20-25 seconds to read a new, different temperature and thus is not suitable for grill cooking.
