Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of OXO Good Grips Food Mill

Customer Review: Practice makes perfect
Summary: 5 Stars

I was so excited to use this product when I first received it. I oredered it to puree cooked pumpkin that my husband grew in his garden this year. I had a hard time because I was using it incorreclty. Make sure you put the metal plates right side up and be sure to reverse once in a while to clear it. After some practice it was really effortless and made the job go very quickly. I have since used it for tomato puree on the smallest setting and the results are just beautiful.

Customer Review: Great Product
Summary: 5 Stars

I have owned several food mills over the years, this is by far the best. Heavy duty, with a handle that easily turns and the food mill handles large batches of food. I use it mainly for tomatoes and it does a great job. The blades are easy to change and the handle rotating is a good feature that makes it easy on the hands. It fits well on bowls and is stable. I hope to use this for many years to come. I have bought several Oxo products and all have been top notch.

Customer Review: awesome product
Summary: 5 Stars

We use it for making tomato sauce with our garden tomato's. going on 2 years now ,It really works great, only a few seeds get through. The only thing that could be improved on is the size of the bowl could be a bit bigger, its a little hard to scoop out the skins and seeds unless you remove the center turney thing. (spell check doesnt like the word turney) ha ha . Any way my wife loves it and I dont mind helping with the sauce making now. definitely worth the money.

Customer Review: Great food mill

After using an old aluminum food mill for years this one just knocked my socks off. Fits easily over a bowl or pot, stainless steel, does not slip, turns smoothly, has different size "screens"...I just love it. I make applesauce with skins, core, seeds and all, just cook halved apples with a little water, put the mash through the mill and the things you don't want are left behind. A definite upgrade, easy to clean.

Customer Review: Fantastic Food Mill
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great food mill. I use it to make baby food, puree vegetables for soup, make applesauce for the family, and much more! It is very easy to turn the handle, easy to clean, and does not rust like the Foley Food Mills I owned in the past. The legs fold nicely for storage. The attachments assemble and are taken apart easily. Although it doesn't have the volume capacity of my previous food mill, it seems to meet the needs of my household.
