Customer Review: Why Did I Wait So Long to Get This?!

I love, love, LOVE garlic but I don't like the tedious process of prepping it - and buying it in a jar or pre-minced/pre-peeled just isn't the same. I've seen various garlic peelers before but for some reason I just didn't want to give them a try. I finally caved and bought one at the same time I ordered some travel mugs. Why, oh why did I wait this long?! This product does what it says it will - it peels garlic. I no longer have to smash each clove, find a way to peel off the outer layer, then wash my fingers in between peelings because they've gotten all sticky. Now I just stick a few cloves in the little "roller" and roll away. The peels stay in (for the most part) until you wash them out, and the peeled garlic cloves fall right out. Whoever invented this deserves the million bucks they'll make off this idea! Get one now! It will change your life!Customer Review: Awesome!!!

I just got it 2 days ago. I'm making Alton Brown's 40 Clove Chicken tonight. When I made it a month ago, it took me about half an hour to peel 2 bulb's worth of cloves. This time it took maybe 5 minutes.
Very intuitive. Just throw a couple cloves in and roll it on the counter with gentle pressure. I did use to much pressure a couple times and split open a couple cloves, but no biggie.
I expected exaggeration with the claim that the peels stay in the unit. That was indeed an exaggeration. That's a minor inconvenience, though.
Clean up was easy. Just a dab of detergent on my fingers and washed it easily with only my hands.
I'm not sure why some of the other reviewers had problems. Maybe arthritis? I don't keep my garlic in the refrigerator. I've never seen a supermarket refrigerate it, and figure they ought to know.

I have always hated peeling garlic, but no more! Now I have to stop myself from peeling more garlic than I need. It is so fun to do. I have found that it does not work well on fresh garlic from the farmer's market. The outer peel still retains too much moisture to come off easily. But for the other nine months of the year when I have to use supermarket garlic, this item will be used almost every day in my kitchen. Pop the garlic in, roll it around a few times, and after removing the clove simply rinse the dried peel out. Love it! Gets my vote for best kitchen gadget I have bought this year.Customer Review: AMAZING!

I couldn't believe it. It said the garlic would fall out peeled and the peels would stay inside...and it did! I put 2 relatively large cloves in the tube, rolled it a bit looked at it and it looked like a mess in there - I tipped it up and out dropped the two completely peeled cloves and the peel stayed inside! How about that! I love garlic, peeling a lot of garlic gets kind of sticky. This is going to be awesome. The silicone did not want to release all the peel when rinsed - so I used my spray head for a sec and they all came out. I'm so happy! Woo hoo!Customer Review: Garlic Peeling Heaven

I have wanted this garlic peeler since I first saw it, but it seemed too good to be true. When it arrived today I popped it out of the package, grabbed a clove of garlic, and set to work. Work??? Oh no, no work here. I had the entire clove peeled and ready for use in less than 5 minutes, with no muss, no fuss, and little mess. I love fresh garlic but always dreaded "The Big Peel Down". No more. Now I can use fresh garlic as often as I want. Clean up is a breeze too. Thank you for another outstanding tool.
