I had high hopes for this thing based on all the positive reviews, but my own experience was disappointing. I put some garlic cloves in it, rolled them around, took them out and voila! -- not one was peeled. I tried it again. And again. Eventually I got a few peeled cloves but the others had to be hand-peeled, just like mother used to do. I finally just threw it out.
Maybe your experience will be better than mine: most people's seems to be. But I don't see the point. It takes longer and yields worse results than the old-fashioned way. I'm still looking for a better mouse trap. And a better garlic peeler.

I suppose this will actually peel garlic, if you use it just right. Never, ever, ever get it wet. It will not work. Also, you must trim off both ends of the garlic, or it won't peel. And then, I still have to hand peel some of the more stubborn pieces. It's just not worth the money. If you look around, you can find much cheaper garlic peelers out there.....BUY THEM!!
