Customer Review: easy to read, seems quite accurate

I have had this thermometer for about two years; using it mainly on poultry. It is a large, well made, and easy to read thermometer. It seems to accurately report the internal temperature of the poultry, as we have neither had over- or underdone meat when relying on this. I would not recommend submerging this or any other meat thermometer in water when cleaning, as the rim where the metal parts meet does not appear to be airtight. I am currently shopping for a meat thermometer to give as a gift and will be purchasing this one again.
