...how grateful I am to have found this mug! I commute four hours a day and have stained countless outfits (and train/bus seats) with coffee that wouldn't stay in the mug. My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I use it every day, even when I'm not commuting, because it keeps my coffee hot (maybe not quite 7 hours like they brag, but I haven't found any better). I can close it and chuck it in my bag and not a drop leaks onto my belongings. I've even accidentally dropped it on concrete, and not even a ding! The mouthpiece could maybe be a little more sip-friendly -- the hole is a little deep and my nose sometimes touches lid -- but all in all I've never had a better mug.Customer Review: Perfect Choice!

I got this mug as a Christmas gift for my husband after reading the reviews on Amazon. Boy, were you guys right! He absolutely LOVES it. It is completely and totally LEAK-PROOF. No more worrying about coffee staining your car seats or floor boards if you tip it over or drop it. You can really tell that there is a tight vacuum seal with this one. His favorite thing to do is dump hot chocolate mix and hot water in, seal the top, and shake it up! Nothing leaks out, and his hot chocolate is perfectly mixed. It's got a comfortable place to sip, too.. and it doesn't dribble down your chin and shirt, like a lot of other mugs do. I'm thinking of purchasing one for myself now.Customer Review: short but sweet

I saw this product on Amazon and meant to order it before my last trip to the states but forgot. Luckily I saw it one day whilst shopping for the same price and grabbed it quickly as a late Christmas present to myself.
The flask is very good at preventing leaks, although a couple of drips can remain in the lid if not careful. It seems to keep drinks reasonably hot for at least a couple of hours but I havnt tried the quoted '7 hours' yet.
CONS: The bottom of the mug is flat stainless and could really do with a rubber seal for extra grip. Will have a look for a DIY option next time I'm near a plumbing store.
OVERALL: Buy this product!

We bought a couple of these two years ago and have used them a lot for both hot and cold beverages. Without a doubt, these are the best travel cups we have used. Beverage temps are maintained well and they REALLY don't leak. We've tested their limits well with having them roll around in the car, dropping them, etc. They have lived up to their claims so far which is refreshing as we too have several other kinds in the cupboard taking up space that haven't. We also throw ours in the dishwasher. I make sure to put them in the washer with the cap in the open mode and then rinse them when I take them out to make sure nothing caught in drinking spout.Customer Review: Love this mug

I had purchased an OXO plastic mug of the same design and liked it. When I went looking for another one I tried my favorite place, Amazon. That's when I saw this metal one, read the reviews and decided to try one even though it was double the price.
It really does keep liquids hot or cold, doesn't leak and I use it constantly; not just for travel but around the house. Of course it is perfect for travel.
Yes, it is spendy but since that is the asking price and I love it, it's worth it.
Of course, my free two day shipping is a plus. It has more than paid for itself. Just wish even more items were Amazon Prime.
