Description of OXO Good Grips MV55-Pro 7-Piece Steak Knife Set with Maple Block
The hand-sharpened, high-carbon stainless-steel blades on the six knives in this set are ideal for neatly slicing steaks, chops, or roasts into bite-size pieces. The blades are 5 inches long, an exceptional length for steak knives, and curve sharply upward at the point so they start a cut easily. Contoured bolsters give the knives excellent balance. Handles are an updated version of the famous Good Grips version used for Oxo kitchen tools. Unlike the tool handles, these are not thick and straight-sided and don't have "fins," or side grooves; instead, they are contoured for a proper grip. However, they're still made of Oxo's signature soft, pressure-absorbing, processed rubber for comfort and slip-resistant safety, and they contain full tangs for strength and balance.
