I'd give these little things an extra star if they were a bit thicker and more sturdy. As it is, they've survived through sink disposal trips, dishwashers, being dropped, bent, and otherwise abused. But the thing is, I don't think they SHOULD bend. I found a really nice, heavy set of metal measuring spoons at Sur La Table that I like a little bit better. Though those don't have the nice grips that these ones do. Just don't put too much pressure on them or drop them in the sink and turn the disposal on like I did, or you'll end up with the grips all slashed up. However, the nicks in the metal can be cleaned up pretty easily with a scouring pad!Customer Review: Awkward ring, less sizes than the plastic set

EDIT: This review is a couple years old now and is for the old Oxo steel measuring spoons. The updated model has shallower bowls and a different ring design.
I'm a bit disappointed that this doesn't include as many sizes as Oxo's plastic spoon set (which has a 1/2 tablespoon and 1/8 teaspoon).
The ring has a strange triangle shape that makes it hard to get to the spoon you want. Throw it away and get a binder ring at an office supply store.
Otherwise, it's a pretty solid set of spoons. I like that the numbers are brightly colored and go deep into the handles so they won't wear off.

These spoons are pretty good I've had them for probably 5 years or so and I've been happy with them. The only problem I've had is that one of the little rubbery pieces on the loop that holds the spoons together came off so now the spoons don't stay together very well. But honestly it's probably because we take them off the loop when we use them so that we don't dirty all of them just to use one.Customer Review: Nice Set

I bought these to replace my stainless steel spoons that were mangled by the garbage disposal. I would have given these 5 stars but I don't like the ring that holds the spoons since the spoons keep falling off and it doesn't include the 1/8 teaspoon. Other than that, I like them. They are not as sturdy as my previous set but are a nice addition to my kitchen essentials.Customer Review: Great measuring spoons

These are great - This is the second set I bought because I was using the first set so often that a second set made sense.
They're well made but I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because the necks are a little bendible. Nothing you can't fix but still a slight annoyance. That is the only issue I have with them and a minor one at that.
