I initially bought this medium scooper to make cake pops, to get a uniform size. It works great, never sticks, and cleans up easily. I just recently started using it for cookies as well, and wow! what a difference it makes. I use to make cookies, "measured" with regular spoons, which never cooked evenly. If you are interested in baking a lot of cookies and having consistent size and bake time, use this cookie scoop. The cookies looked like they had been bought from a store ... only better because they were homemade. The sweep removes all of the dough and the grip does not strain my hand. For anyone who bakes alot of cookies this cookie scoop is a must. They are great, makes making cookies even more fun and less of a chore.
Every cookie is the same size and a batch of cookies bakes evenly and all are done perfect at the same time. I only wish I had purchased them years ago.
Use the cookie scoop and parchment paper for perfect cookies everytime.

I received this scoop for my birthday and have recently employed it in my holiday baking. I have to say that it was easy to use, my hands are much cleaner this year (although licking my fingers isn't that bad) and I found the cookies to be perfectly sized. I also liked that they printed "1 1/2 Tbs" on the sweeper so I don't forget how much it doles out.Customer Review: not a unitasker - Alton Brown would be proud!

It definitely does the job it's advertised to - makes perfectly uniform cookie dough drops for 2-3 inch diameter cookies, and without the sticky mess. But you can also use this as an mini ice cream scoop or melon baller for decorative features on desserts.
The price is just right for this handy little (and sturdy) kitchen tool.
