We've used OXO Good Grips peelers for several years and we've been very happy with them. We found out about the i-Series Swivel Peeler from watching America's Test Kitchen, which highly recommended the new peeler. I wasn't sure Good Grips could improve on the old model, but this one is better. Since it arrived we have reached for the i-Series Peeler every time. It is very comfortable to use. Feels very balanced and it is super sharp. The metal tip is great for removing the bad bits from potatoes. Highly recommend this peeler.Customer Review: How do I love thee?

Let me count the ways: 1. Blade is so sharp, you could perform surgery with it. 2. Smart, smart, smart design. 3. Replaceable blade! Need I say more? 4. Perfect grip - feels natural in the hand. 5. Potato eye remover tip is the best I've ever used. 6. I love you so much, I find excuses to use you! Seriously, I've found no drawbacks with this item. I bought it and a package of spare blades, and I feel like I'm set for life. It makes short work of potatoes, but the way it peels cucumbers is like silk. I bought a good grips peeler for my mother way back in the 1970s she was so tickle to get it (she came up during the depression, the littlest things made her happy). My beloved mother has since passed, I now use that peeler I bought her, it is going strong and still works great. It reminds me of her every time I use it and all the wonderful meals and good times we had together, if you have a mother like mine, buy her one, make a memory that could last long into the future. After becoming frustrated with my other peeler (everything seemed to get stuck in the blades) I tried out this new swivel peeler. What a difference. The super sharp stainless steel blade makes an easy job of peeling carrots and potatoes. You can also replace the blade when it wears out - which should take years. I like the way the non-slip handle feels in my hands. This is a very sturdy peeler and it also has a metal "eyer" to remove blemishes in potatoes.

Customer Review: The only peeler in my life (well, OK, the only peeler I USE...)

I've been using a dull old Kitchenaid vegetable peeler for more than a year now, and got fed up with it. The appeal (HA!) of this peeler is that the blade is replaceable. So it might get dull in a year, yes, but I won't have to shell out ten bucks for another peeler, I'll be able to shell out slightly less (hopefully!) for a replacement blade. And this blade is SO sharp. It seems much sharper than the Kitchenaid peeler's blade was, so hopefully it won't get dull as quickly.
