i don't know how this peeler could be made any better. it works superbly. the cheap semi-effective peelers cannot compare to its premium quality. now, hopefully OXO will sell replacement blades for decades, qualifying it as an heirloom kitchen utensil, built to last.Customer Review: Oxo is #1 Again!

I bought this & was amazed of the quality & the improvements over all the other vegetable peelers I have used in the past.
A super sharp replaceable blade, a rubber tacky grip, a vastly superior potato eye remover, and it has a great comfortable feel & balance.

Who knew that having a sharp new peeler blade could transform food prep? This is a comfortable, well-designed tool. The little end scoop doesn't look adequate but in fact it's perfectly up to the task of removing potato eyes and blemishes on fruit.
