Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of OXO Good Grips Professional 6-Inch Utility KnifeCustomer Review: Great knife at a great price Summary: 5 Stars
I love these OXO knives, good grip, good blade, good balance. They say don't put 'em in the dishwasher. Know why? They don't melt and are not damaged in any way other than the grit that comes in dishwasher soap blasts away at them and dulls the blade. I'm too lazy to hand wash them so I jam 'em in the dishwasher anyway, after about 20 washes you have to sharpen them again.
Customer Review: Good Quality, Nice Feel, Sharp Blade Summary: 5 Stars
I was looking for a mid-sized chopping/slicing knife for everyday use in the kitchen. I found a very good match.
The knife has a nice handle with a soft, rubber-type material for a good grip. It is light weight. The blade is sharp. I can chop carrots, slice tomatoes, and trim meat with the same knife.
Oh, and the price was just fine, too.
Customer Review: Buy this knife Summary: 5 Stars
This knife has a sharp well balanced blade. The handle has a comfortable grip and is usable even when wet. I also own the 3.5 inch version of this knife (paring knife I think). Not too expensive, and holds up well to repeated use and washing.
Customer Review: oxo utility knife Summary: 4 Stars
This is a pretty good knife, but inferior to the prof. chef's version, that I really wanted and got later.
