Where have you been all my life beautiful??? Not only pleasing to the eye but the function is where the real beauty begins. A peeler is a peeler is a peeler, right? Oh, no. I've had plenty of others and hated every one of them - hated peeling. I LOVE this peeler. I look forward to my peeling tasks because it makes such quick work of them.
One of my favorite dishes is Eggplant Stew. I think I'd make it three times a week if my schedule permitted. That said, one of the worst parts of the process is peeling the darn eggplant. They are ungainly, slippery, and just hard to peel. This little beauty turned a hard work, challenging, twenty-minute peel job into a five-minute breeze. I am in love forever. If I live to be 200 I will never own any other type of peeler. One reviewer said it only lasted a year. Ha, okay by me. This one is so good I'll buy a new one every year if I have to. Thank you Oxo!
A word of caution - this baby's sharp, and I do mean sharp, so take care when using.
