I found one of these at the local Goodwill and I paid 19 cents for it, and I really like it!! I have had mine for over a year and a half and I use it all the time. It hasn't worn out on me and I have used it in the hottest conditions, (i.e. VERY HOT wok, frying, etc...), and I haven't seen any wear in the silicone. I have tried to use the handle as a tamper in my blender one time, and It got a few nicks, but hasn't shown much other wear... (I was trying to make bread crumbs without a Food processor, NEVER AGAIN!! :-O :-( ). I have abused this spatula and it has held up so well, if this one wears out, I WILL buy another one!! :-)
Five stars for taking a beating and still coming back for more EVERY TIME!! :-D

Let's face it: when is the last time you got really excited about a piece of utilityware like this one? It's your basic turner, with a silicone coating on the head. Nice and sturdy, I find this useful for all sorts of turning. Only disadvantage is that the silicone-coated head isn't super-thin and strong for getting under sticking fish filets; for that I just want a nice thin all-metal spatula. But if you're into non-stick cookware and not into sauteing fish fillets, this is definitely the spatula for you! And of course it's plenty handy even if you aren't a stickless non-fish-sauteing wonk.Customer Review: Excellent !!! I like it for for smaller items

This spatula is excellent for smaller food items such as 1 egg or a hamburger in a smaller pan.
The front and sides are beveled to slip under the food easily. It has a nice angle to get into the pan properly. There is no worry about scraping the finish on the pan with the soft material on this spatula.
I have only had this spatula for a short time now and have had no problems with it as some of the other reviewers have mentioned. I guess time will tell.
It seems to be well made and comfortable to use. Glad that I bought it so far.

This spatula was purchased two years ago; a means of solving the spatula melted-edge syndrome in a non stick aluminum omelet pan. Two observations after two years use; this spatula seems impervious to high heat. Its soft surface follows a pan's inside curve to easily return food to the center of the pan. Switching to non stick stainless steel became a more enjoyable experience than non stick aluminum. The spatula used daily for scrambled eggs or omelet in a 10-inch pan is still going strong issue free.Customer Review: Love silicone.

I buy and use OXO products whenever I can, I was pleasently surprised tho to find how well this utensil works, I've used other products that work for a while then start to peel or stick. The first time I used this was for eggs, the skillet was a little too hot and my first thought was , oh darn, but this slipped easily underneath and they were turned perfectly. I'm going to look at more of them. It is also so handy to be able to sit at my computer and order anything I need from Amazon.
