This is a sturdy masher. I have used it for applesauce and potatoes as well as egg salad. I just half the eggs and the masher does the right job making a nice salad. Easy to clean.Customer Review: Good for arthritic hands

My old masher broke just before the holidays. I was happy to find this one! I have trouble grasping things tightly without pain, and this design makes mashing MUCH easier!
