I've owned this scale for a year now and can't imagine how I've lived without it. It's accurate enough for most recipes, especially if it's set on "grams". The way the screen pulls out so you can see it while using large bowls is ingenious. I mainly use it for weighing ingredients for baking, but I've also used it for portioning out meat, etc. that I buy bulk from Sam's Club. It's worth every penny.Customer Review: Great!

I got this for my wife, a professional chocolatier. She needs precision measures for ingredients and this one delivers. It's also a great design... the pull-out control panel is brilliantly simple and effective for weighing large bowls. The assembly quality is very good and it seems quite robust. This scale is great. We purchased it for the kitchen of course. Many recipes call for items (flour) to be measured in weight. This scale has a pull out display attached to the base with a small retractable insulated black cord. The display is bright, with easy to read numbers. This is a great scale. It is a little bigger than most but this is not a problem at all. We love the feature of being able to pull out the digital display when you use larger bowls. We love the fact that you can put on a bowl and then press a button which removes the bowel weight and then can add items to know the exact weight. Would recommend this item to buy. I have put off getting a kitchen scale for many years thinking it not really necessary. But, now I cannot live without it. This one is easy to use, compact and really like the top plate that comes off to clean it. Display is large enough to read without my glasses. That is a plus! Having grams and ounce measurements is a super plus as well. You will not be disappointed with this scale.
