Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of OXO Good Grips Times Squared Double Timer, SilverCustomer Review: This is a nice timer... Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this because our new (cheapy) microwave doesn't have the ability to cook food and time something else separately at the same time & I was always having to stop one to do the other. I picked this one because of the dual timer --now I can time the oven, the stovetop AND cook the frozen veggies in the microwave! --and also, I liked that it had a digital timer for longer cooking items and also a basic 60-minute dial timer for the quick-timed 'jobs'. It's kind of big but fits in my 'junk' drawer by the stove so that's okay. It's not magnetized, either, which I knew when I bought it, but it's too big & heavy to stick to anything anyway. The digital side beeps when it's done and the dial side rings, as expected. I use it a lot and like it.
