Tired of disappointments experienced with other more cumbersome and certainly less-melodic whistling tea kettles, I perused various websites for a stylish, functional replacement. The Uplift's recent reviews were consistently promising; so I placed my order, which was delivered sooner than anticipated. The Uplift is perfect: cheery red appearance, reliable harmonic whistle, easy to use without errant steam scalding my fingers, and easy to clean. I absolutely love it!.... Simply lifting the kettle up opens the spout cover automatically so you can pour easily and safely. The handle is made of neoprene to provide a secure and comfortable grip.Bring out the scones--the Uplift teakettle covers all the bases when it comes to making tea. Its spout opens when the nonslip, heat-resistant handle is lifted, keeping fingers and hands far away from scalding steam. The removable lid is extra wide for easy refilling and simple cleaning. The Good Grips line is recognized for its durable, nonslip, flexible handles.
