This garlic press is very sturdy. The black plastic waffle pattern on the back side of the press nicely helps in cleaning away the remains of the pressed garlic. I have tried many garlic pressors, they either fell apart with the pressure or
they didn't crush the garlic well. I,am amazionaly satisfied with this garlic press.

this is the best garlic press I owned or used. I was a bit skeptical about the plastic pieces and how they will wear with time. It is one year since I own it and it is holding just fine. It is very easy to clean too. That's the second reason, why I gave it five stars.Customer Review: Works great

I was having a hard time finding a garlic press with a built in cleaner in local stores, not to mention a stainless steel garlic press, so I turned to Amazon and got this Oxo Steel Garlic Press. It works great, solid construction, easy to clean, exactly what I needed.
