I make a fair number of dirty martinis around my apartment and every one and awhile the shot glasses make an appearance too. Regardless of whether I'm pouring from a 750 ml or a 1.75 liter bottle, I always manage to spill a bit on the counter. I have used this pourer in a number of different size/brand bottles and it has fit them all so far. I just rinse it off and keep it on the counter so I can pop it in if we're hosting. A lot easier to pour a full shot without overflow.
