Nice idea, poor product. I have had 5 of these fail on me with only a few months use. The lever becomes very stiff. Eventually the linkage inside the stopper breaks rendering the lever useless. OXO customer service sent immediate replacements however all the replacements have failed as well. It's time for OXO to go back to the drawing board on this one!Customer Review: Broke quickly

So I normally have found oxo to have great products, however, not this one. The closing apparatus broke on me quite quickly. I DO NOT recommend this.
