I live in an old building with hence old, very sensitive plumbing. Needless to say, toilet clogging is a big issues. I've tried various types of plungers and this one works the best! Even compared to the traditional red ones that people rave about.
First, this plunger is great because of the container that automatically opens and stays open until you put the plunger back on the spring loaded bottom of the container. I hate the idea of a plunger touching the bathroom floor, my hands, and well anything so I like the idea of a plunger container. I've tried cheaper kinds but they don't stay open while you're using the plunger or they don't close automatically when you put the plunger inside. That defeats the purpose of not touching the plunger. Also those other plungers just didn't work well.
Even though this plunger is almost $20, it is well worth it! Especially if you're icky about germs and don't like the plunger sticking out like a sore thumb in your bathroom.
