My husband says these tongs are the best we have. He is pretty hard on tongs due to all the grilling he does. He grills pork loin roasts (each roast is a quarter of a loin, so 2-3 lb ea) and needs something reliable for picking them up and turning them over.
Description of Oxo Good Grips 12-Inch Stainless-Steel Locking Tongs
These Good Grips 12" Locking Tongs are brushed stainless steel with non-slip handles and comfortable thumb rests. Simply push the soft tab at the top of the Tongs to open them, and pull the tab to lock the Tongs closed for convenient storage. The length of these Tongs makes them perfect for barbecue.Sometimes overlooked as a valuable kitchen tool, tongs serve a variety of kitchen duties: tossing salads, flipping cutlets in a frying pan, snagging stubborn pickles from a jar, and more. These tongs are constructed of brushed stainless steel for easy cleaning and durability. A locking mechanism closes the tongs for easy storage, and provides a large loop for hanging. The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably and softly, the pressure-absorbing processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while providing an outstanding grip.
