My first can came damaged. I had a returned item within 2 days and UPS picked up the damaged unit. Nice work by Amazon. The can works great. The action on the pop-up lid is strong. I doubt is will break easily as many of the flip top cans often do. Ii like the OXO brand for the most part. This did not let me down. This trashcan is well, the best I've been able to find anywhere for the price. It looks good, it's thick lip hides the trash bag at the top, it locks the bag in place, the lid locks open, and it's pretty durable. The only complaint I have is simply I wish there was a slightly bigger than standard kitchen bag size can available from oxo, otherwise it's a great buy!Customer Review: oxo rocks

most things i get made by oxo are especially user friendly and this was another example. mine works well, it holds the bag in place which is a big improvement and a plus for my quality of life, eliminating a former source of aggravation. I had no problem removing the label, it peeled right off. Maybe they fixed the problem, or maybe it's a bad batch of labels? My trash can opens easily with the pedal, the lid closes tight and garbage is sealed away, no odors, the bag stays in place, it's as good as it gets. Customer Review: Nice can, but the label is impossible to remove!

I got this trash can for my kitchen. It is sleek and clean looking. I like that it has a lock for the trash bag, so it doesn't fall inside the trash can. I like the foot pedal for the lid. Here's the downfall, the sticker (which is huge) on the front of the can is so hard to remove. I even used adhesive remover and that didn't even help much. It probably took me 20 minutes to remove the sticker, and I mostly used my finger nails. All in all, this is a really nice trash can. OXO might want to consider using different glue for their sticker. Customer Review: Great for the money

I am so glad I found this trash can after wasting many dollars over many years to find a simple kitchen trash can. The step on operner works great, my cats cannot pry into it, my toddler cannot open it (yet). My ONLY complaint would be the way the trash bag inside is held in place. It is difficult to use but eventually works better than many others.
