This OXO trash container is very well made with anti-skid base and great construction all around. If you like the convenience of a kitchen trash can out where it is easily accessible, then this one is probably the sexiest one you'll ever find. I love this garbage can. It's so big--The specifications said 13 gallon. I used 13 gallon trash bags in my old can so I thought old can was 13 gallon---Wrong, it must have been an 8 gallon can. There are only 2 of us in the house and we only need to replace the bag once a week. How great is that!!!
I had read the other reviews about the sticker being hard to get off so I covered it with WD-40 & let it sit, then it peeled right off. OXO is a good brand so I'm planning on not buying another kitchen garbage can for 15 years.

I am pleased with this can. I've had no problems with the pedal, as others have, and I like the way the lid is designed. It closes completely and seals odors in. The sticker is hard to get off, but try holding a hair dryer on it for a few moments. This softens up the glue and it peels off more easily.Customer Review: Just as described - no sticker removal problem

I have a hard time getting excited over a garbage can but as they go this one is very nice and just as described. One thing I wanted to point out is that the stickers on the can both came off in one piece with no problems and no residue left behind. I saw in some other reviews that this had been a problem but it was not for me.Customer Review: Nice Can

I would have given it 5 stars except it was not as big as I expected and it was not "coal" black as it looked on the site. Otherwise, it's a great can and the features work well. We have been through 2 other cans and this one is by far the best. We probably will keep this one until it needs replaced due to damage or some other reason. For now, it's a keeper.
