Oxo has once again priven how good its products are. The fact that it stands up on its own makes it very easy to use. The plastic container on the bottom is perfect for catching the grated carrot and even more perfect for storing the leftovers.Customer Review: Best Box Grater Yet!

I purchased this product because it was recommended by America's Test Kitchen, a public television show produced by Cook's Illustrated magazine.
It's easy to hold, easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store. What more could I ask for? It's hard to beat OXO Good Grips products, and I wish I owned everything they make!
The clear storage container (with non-slip ring, lid, and measurement markings) is a super feature.

Finally, the cheese doesn't haven't to be all over the friggin' place. Most of it does collect in the container. Takes some practice. Don't push so hard, and not so fast:-) I use it for making bread crumbs and shredding veggies. Does a great job on your knuckles, too, so be careful; it's real sharp.Customer Review: Good concept, but imperfect

I like the little measuring tub on the bottom, but you still need a cutting board (or something else) under the grater, at least with hard cheese, because they flake off on the outside of the grater as well. Not a dealbreaking flaw, but a flaw nonetheless.
I do like that it's on the flat side, so it can be easily stored and put in the diswasher, and the tub is easy to put on and take off. I"m going to use it for a soft cheese tonight, and I'll update my review if necessary.
