I love cooking with garlic. I hate peeling garlic. I always end up poking myself under my fingernails - which really hurts - and my hands reek forever. This is one of the simplest gadgets ever! Stick in a few cloves, roll the tube using a little pressure (you can't just send it flying like a matchbox car), and voila - fresh peeled garlic without hurting myself.
