I bought one of these a while back and found I used it so often that I needed another, then another. How many recipes call for a 1/4 cup of oil? 4 TBSP = 1/4 cup. I love the convenience of using this measure instead of a traditional measuring cup because it isn't full to the brim at capacity like a standard measuring cup, and the pour spout is more accurate. I also like that I can put it in the dishwasher without fear of mutilating it with the high heat drying element. It's handy for both liquid and dry measurements (sugar, salt, etc). I have three of them and I use them all often and together. I just bought two more for Christmas stocking stuffers for my adult children, who both like to cook. They are the perfect size for everyday cooks with small or average sized families. And they're cute. Great design.
