This is a great peeler, I tried it on vegetable peels and fruit peels, it works fantastic, also when the blades gets dull, you can purchase refill blades (comes in 2 pack case).
The handle works great, I have a small hand and it was very comfortable. Peeling fruits like apple or pears the skin stayed in one piece.
Worth the extra money it cost, plus if you look for newer stock there is also a blade guard that comes with the peeler.

I bought this & was amazed of the quality & the improvements over all the other vegetable peelers I have used in the past.
A super sharp replaceable blade, a rubber tacky grip, a vastly superior potato eye remover, and it has a great comfortable feel & balance.

This is probably the best peeler I've ever used. Far better than the cheap peelers you'd get at the grocery store. The peeler is cast out of zinc and has a soft, rubberized coating on the grip. It is nicely weighted and shaped perfectly. The blade is also wickedly sharp; on par with a high-quality kitchen knife. I used it to peel some carrots and potatoes for a stew and it worked much quicker and with less fuss than my old peeler. Highly recommended.Customer Review: Simply a great peeler

This is just a fantastic peeler at a very reasonable price. Has a very comfortable handle that gives you nice control. The metal construction is a nice improvement over the original OXO peeler: its potato eyer is much sharper and easier to use. The blade is ultra sharp also. Not sure if I'll ever need to replace the blade, but its a nice option to have.
