Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Oxo SteeL Garlic Press, StainlessCustomer Review: Best Garlic Press I used Summary: 5 Starsthis is the best garlic press I owned or used. I was a bit skeptical about the plastic pieces and how they will wear with time. It is one year since I own it and it is holding just fine. It is very easy to clean too. That's the second reason, why I gave it five stars.
Customer Review: not for real use... great brand, just not for this product Summary: 2 StarsOXO is a great line and i love most of their products, but this press leaves more in the hopper than it pushes out. Prying the leftovers out and chopping up the remains is almost as much a chore as just doing it from the get go. I own this piece of... equipment and would like to trade it for the trudeau model if anyone is crazy enough to take me up on it. Until it happens maybe i'll just go back to the old chef's knife. Spend your $$$ on other OXO stuff like tongs and can openers, not this useless tool.
Customer Review: Hey, this IS a nice one! Summary: 5 StarsAfter reading about this well-reviewed press on Amazon, I decided to put it on my wish list, and received it. I have to say, I am impressed, after two recent previous presses with breakable plastic handles or lousy pressing mechanisms, this one gets the job done. A bit heavy, but the stainless steel is what makes it so solid. OK to throw in dishwasher, or otherwise easy to hand clean. Stylish looking, if you are into that sort of thing. Highly recommended, hope this one lasts for years!
Customer Review: the best so far Summary: 5 StarsOut of all garlic presses I tried this is the best so far.. may be a bit heavy but very efficient and worth $
Customer Review: Heavy duty garlic press Summary: 5 StarsThis is the first garlic press I've ever used or purchased. It's heavy duty and I think it will last a long time. You just put it the garlic cloves without peeling and press. You do need to put some strength, so maybe if you have arthritis or weak hands you may not like this. I use it all the time and then just rinse and put it in the dishwasher. I've had it for about a month and no problems at all.
