I live in an average sized apartment with little counter space and this item really helped to free up some of that space. It's not so big that it will only fit in certain places, and not so small that you can't fit anything on it. It also seems to be quite sturdy. I purchased this because my most often used tools were getting completely out of control in my drawer. The piece was easy to hang. I have it on a brick back splash (not my doing, it was here when I moved in), which I had my doubts about it still being sturdy. It is slightly loose but, completely sturdy. I love this OXO utensil rack. It looks very stylish and is easy to install. I have now bought 3. We cut it down to fit the space we have and it cuts easily. Also, the hooks are long so it is easy to store those items with thick handles.Customer Review: good for price

Sometimes we do not want something that is top of the line, industrial grade, and heavy duty. We want something low priced. We want to spend less than $10.
We just want something that will hold our measuring spoons.
We want something that can be installed in very, very little space RIGHT UNDER the cupboards in a tiny city apartment.
We do not necessarily want 30 hooks, but just six, so they can be evenly spaced.
This little item is just right if the above are your issues.
I agree with some of the other reviewers, it's not a great looker, not a wow, this is so industrial, so beautiful.

We got this tool rack to organize our cooking utensils (declutter the junk drawer) without taking up counter space. The plastic 'packaging' is also a template for marking the mounting holes. That is a neat trick I plan to use from now on. Now all of our spatulas and spoons are within reach when cooking.
